In this article, I will explain tips for writing references easily. Here are some tips.

Use Citation Software.

The use of citation software will greatly help you not only in writing citations and references but also in managing your reference sources well. There are many citation software that provides the tools that can help you, for example, Mendeley, Zotero, Endnote, and so on.

Read Good References

You will get the right source of knowledge if you read from a good source. Then, try to search for a good reference from reputable journals or top conferences. You can search reputable journals by their citation index in Scimago. Another reputable journal also can get from Elsevier, ArXiv, or IEEE.

Try Not to Use References from Wikipedia or Personal Blogs

Sometimes the information from Wikipedia or personal blogs has an unclear source. Posts on Wikipedia can not be ascertained because the truth is not stated clearly who the author is. On the other hand, most blog writers only write opinions that are not based on facts. It’s okay to use references from personal websites, but check again the truth and source of information written on that website.
